FlipGrip has worked with every wireless charger we have tested without a case. FlipGrip worked on most wireless chargers we tested with a thin case (<2mm thick). Not all wireless chargers are created equal. We recommend searching "wireless charger for thick cases" on your preferred search engine to find one that will work through FlipGrip and a thin case.

For charging with thicker cases and MagSafe, FlipGrip's top pops off with a firm prying motion to reveal its thin bottom ring. It then easily snaps back on when finished charging.

You can remove FlipGrip's bottom ring, but the adhesive will not retain its initial strength after removal. Extra install kits will be available for purchase in the near future so you don't have to buy a whole new grip if your adhesive wears out.

No. FlipGrip is made entirely of plastic. We designed it that way on purpose so that it doesn't interfere with wireless charging like some other grips that have magnets and steel.

FlipMount inserts into FlipGrip's center slots and locks onto a flange on the bottom of the grip for a secure mount. There are no magnets involved.
